Day 1 | Arrive in Finnish Lapland

Arrive in Finnish Lapland and transfer to the beautiful Wilderness Hotel Inari for a seven night stay in a Log Cabin. Enjoy lunch and then why not grab some snowshoes and wander out onto the beautiful lake Inari—the perfect place to make snow angels! Enjoy dinner in the lakeside restaurant in the evening and as darkness falls, keep your eyes on the night sky as the Northern Lights may be swirling overhead.

Day 2 | Ice Fishing

Today, travel by snowmobile sleigh for a magical day of ice fishing. You will visit the best spots to try and catch some fish and a stop will be made for lunch around an open fire. Later return to the hotel and perhaps make use of the sauna to warm up before dining in the restaurant in the evening.

Day 3 | Husky Safari

Today, find out that sled dogs are astonishingly keen! Grab the reins and let your team of trusty dogs guide you into the untouched wilderness of the Arctic on this exhilarating husky safari. Lunch will be included back at the hotel and the afternoon is free to spend at leisure before dinner in the evening.

Day 4 | Reindeer Visit

Meet a reindeer herder and his herd today. Learn about these semi-wild animals and what life is like in the Arctic north before a short reindeer sleigh ride in the beautiful Lappish wilderness. Enjoy lunch and dinner at the resort.

Day 5 | Ski Day

Today head to Saariselkä Ski & Sport Resort and get fitted with ski boots and equipment for a private ski lesson. The afternoon is free for you to enjoy some time on the slopes and your day ski pass also gives you access to the toboggan slope. Stop for lunch at the restaurant and later return to Wilderness Hotel Inari for dinner.

Day 6 | Aurora Camp

Enjoy dinner in the lakeside restaurant before heading out to an Aurora Camp to search for the elusive Northern Lights swirling in the night sky. Sit in a sledge that is pulled by the guide’s snowmobile and enjoy the northern sky all the way to the camp before unwinding around a blazing campfire with hot drinks.

Day 7 | Relax

Today, sit back and relax at the resort. Enjoy spending time in your log cabin or head outside to explore your surroundings by snowshoe or kicksled, or build a snowman. Perhaps make use of the sauna in the afternoon. Enjoy lunch and dinner at the resort and don’t forget to head outside in the evening one last time to hunt for the Northern Lights overhead.

Day 8 | Departure Day

Bid farewell to Finnish Lapland and transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
