Originally built in 2010, this remote hideaway is tucked away in the far north of Finnish Lapland. Recently renovated to the highest of standards, and offering a truly luxurious all-inclusive stay in an inspiring and untouched wilderness, Paishill really is in a class of its own.
Tell me more
Able to accommodate up to six guests, Paishill Private Lodge is the perfect choice for couples or families seeking peace and privacy. Finnish and Scandinavian design mix beautifully with the traditional elements of a cosy log cabin here; it's evident that the interior aesthetics have been carefully selected, blending seamlessly with the arctic wilderness outside and capturing the true beauty of the north.
Talented local carpenters have crafted custom-made furniture including beds, lamps and interior cupboards, but the centrepiece and true highlight of the property is its wood-fired sauna located in a separate building opposite the main lodge. An outdoor hot tub will also tempt those wanting to relax and recharge, and can provide front row seats for aurora viewing from as early as September right through to the end of March.
Hike and salmon fish in summer, or snowshoe and dog sled in winter – a range of activities can be organised whatever time of year. And with wholesome food made from organically farmed ingredients, lovingly prepared by a private chef, it will be hard to leave this resplendent retreat for anyone who has the privilege of becoming one of its guests.

"The remoteness of Paishill Lodge is its strength. You feel that you are somewhere far, far away, yet you are surrounded by unparalleled luxury"

We're wild about Paishill Lodge
Emma Durkin | Founder at Where The Wild Is
"From its walls made of wood, to the beds wrapped in natural linen; sustainable materials are found throughout this eco-luxe cabin. The Henriksson family, who own and manage Paishill, strongly believe the lodge should honour the beauty of the surrounding nature and respect the fragile environment in which it is located. It's an ethos we passionately share too at Where The Wild Is".
