With only twelve rooms and one suite, 360 Lodge focuses on creating an atmosphere at once tranquil and private. Noted for its unique, personalised service including nightly three-course meals, this boutique hotel is the result of the creative collaboration of husband-and-wife team Anna Gísladóttir and Olafur Sigurdsson, along with the help of their much-loved sheep dog, Skrumpa.

A thoughtful structure channelling urban sophistication accentuated by a sleek industrial design of grey stone, sharp edges, and raw materials, 360 caters to those in search of focused solitude. As each room boasts a sweeping view of the surroundings, some including the floating Westman Islands in the distance, or the island nation’s famous Eyjafjallajökul volcano, guests are invited to feel transported from time and place to a feeling imbued with reflection and rejuvenation. 

Unique to a hotel so small, 360’s in-house spa includes multiple pools whose water is heated geothermally from nearby springs, a sauna, and a fireside lounge open 24/7. Mitchell speakers adorn each guest room and invite you to create a personalised soundtrack for your stay, and pillowed beds whisk you off into a sleep beneath the daylight stars of an endless night.
