Tell me more

From gulls to geese, oyster catchers, seabirds, wild ducks, heron, and swallows, there’s no shortage of bird life at Hebridean Huts. Built to accentuate the natural surroundings, the two cabins are situated amidst untouched tranquillity, lending each guest the opportunity to catch a view of an untarnished night sky, and every now and then a glimpse of the Aurora Borealis.

Venture beyond your cabin to the Grillikota Barbecue Hut – a space dedicated to the art of cooking and camaraderie with an interior draped with Finnish sheepskin rugs and luxurious wooden appliances
reminiscent of a fairytale cottage. Guests have the opportunity to hire the hut for the evening for an exclusive barbecue by the beach as the sun dips beneath the sea.

A stone’s throw away from beaches, iconic standing stones, and the historic Gearrannan Blackhouse Village, Hebridean Huts offers guests versatility – whether you’re seeking a secluded getaway interrupted only by the sound of crashing waves and wildlife, or an adventurous experience with loved ones.

“We moved to the Isle of Lewis after honeymooning in the Hebrides and the view from our croft onto the Atlantic is one we never tire of. We hope guests will want to escape here too and soak up the spectacular views, sea air, and reset their body clocks to island time for some rest and relaxation in this stunning location".
