Day 1 | Arrive in the Faroe Islands & Welcome Dinner

Your journey to the Faroe Islands begins with independent flights into Vágar Airport, followed by a private taxi transfer through dramatic landscapes to the village of Bøur. At The View, you are warmly welcomed with tea, coffee, and homemade cake as you settle into your peaceful surroundings. Overlooking sweeping cliffs and the Atlantic beyond, this intimate base feels instantly restorative. In the evening, gather for a memorable welcome dinner, enjoying a thoughtful three‑course farm‑to‑table experience celebrating local ingredients and Faroese culinary traditions.

Day 2 | Mykines: Puffins & Wild Atlantic Beauty

Set out for one of the Faroes’ most iconic adventures. A ferry crossing carries you to Mykines, the westernmost island and summer home to thousands of puffins. Guided by Oda Wilhelmsdóttir Andreasen, whose personal connection to the island brings stories vividly to life, explore dramatic cliffs, sea views, and quiet village paths. Dinner is enjoyed on Mykines before a thrilling private RIB boat journey returns you across the Atlantic swells to Vágar, ending an unforgettable day immersed in nature and wildlife.

Day 3 | Cliffs, Lakes & Floating Horizons

Enjoy guided hike across Vágar’s striking landscapes. Walk to Trøllkonufingur, the dramatic sea stack known as the Witch’s Finger, and onward to the famous heart‑shaped lake framed by cliffs and ocean views. Lunch awaits at Fiskastykkið in Sandavágur, a charming restaurant housed in a former fish warehouse. In the evening, a boat tour delivers dinner onboard before an evening hike to Trælanípa, where the optical illusion of the floating lake creates a truly magical moment.

Day 4 | Koltur Islands & Tórshavn Afternoon

Travel by RIB across Hestfjørð to the remote farming island of Koltur. During four unhurried hours, explore this peaceful island on foot, enjoying open landscapes, seabirds, and a visit to the historic house Heima í Húsi. A packed lunch is enjoyed outdoors, surrounded by silence and sea. Later, continue your journey to the capital, Tórshavn, where you check in to Hotel Føroyar. With sweeping views over the city and water, the evening is yours to relax and reflect on the day’s simple island pleasures

Day 5 | Independent Discovery in Tórshavn

Today invites unstructured exploration of the Faroe Islands’ charming capital. Wander the compact streets of Tórshavn at your own pace, discovering cafés, galleries, and local shops. A highlight is Tinganes, the historic old town of turf‑roofed buildings perched over the harbour, long the political and cultural heart of the Faroes. Its narrow lanes and red wooden houses tell centuries of stories. Take time to enjoy lunch by the water or browse local craft boutiques before returning to Hotel Føroyar for a relaxed evening overlooking the city and surrounding fjords.

Day 6 | Saksun, Tjørnuvík & Gjógv

Today’s guided sightseeing reveals some of the Faroes’ most dramatic scenery. Travel to Saksun for a walk around its iconic lagoon, followed by a visit to a traditional farmhouse that offers insight into rural island life. Lunch at Rosie’s pairs local ingredients with Mediterranean inspiration, overlooking the fjord. In the afternoon, journey eastward through waterfalls and valleys, stopping at Hvalvík’s historic wooden church and crossing onto Eysturoy beneath towering peaks. Arrive in Gjógv to explore the dramatic sea gorge and settle into Gjáargarður Guesthouse for dinner.

Day 7 | Northern Islands & Kalsoy Legends

Enjoy a scenic morning of driver‑guided sightseeing through the Northern Islands. Visit Viðareiði, where mountains plunge dramatically into the sea, then continue to the quiet island of Kunoy for a gentle woodland walk in rare Faroese forest. Lunch in Klaksvík at Café Fríða offers local comfort and atmosphere. Later, a private RIB boat takes you to Kalsoy, home of legends. Hike to Kallur Lighthouse, pass the James Bond memorial, and witness sweeping views before a memorable dinner on the island, returning to Klaksvík in the evening.

Day 8 | Hikes, Craft & Faroese Hospitality

The day begins with a rewarding hike to Klakkur, one of the Faroes’ finest short ascents, offering panoramic views over Klaksvík and surrounding islands. Continue to Eysturoy for a guided visit to Snældan, a family‑owned spinning mill, where Faroese wool traditions come to life. At Harriet’s farm in Æðuvík, enjoy a heartfelt farm tour and hearty home‑cooked lunch rooted in local customs. After shopping for knitwear in Runavík, return to Klaksvík for a farewell evening featuring a historical walking tour and farewell dinner.

Day 9 | Farewell to the Faroe Islands

Your journey concludes with breakfast and final moments in Klaksvík, perhaps enjoying quiet harbor views or a last stroll through the town. Travel back across mountains and fjords to Vágar Airport, offering a final chance to absorb the Faroe Islands’ raw beauty.
