Active Adventure in Voss

Transfer to Bergen Station and board the scenic Bergen Line for the short journey to Voss. On arrival, check into your stylish design hotel — your whitewater rafting basecamp for the next three nights. Settle in and savour a well-earned dinner featuring fresh local ingredients, as the relaxed atmosphere sets the tone for the adventures ahead.

A full day of active exploration in one of Norway's most famous fjord regions. A short journey on the Bergen Line train to Myrdal where you continue by mountain bike, descending the valley, to the tiny village of Flåm. Continue with an  exhilarating journey by RIB boat along the Aurlands and Nærøy fjords and then swap to a sea kayak with time for a delicious beach BBQ. Your day ends with a  scenic bus ride through the Nærøy Valley back to Voss. A spectacular day of activity and breathtaking scenery. 

Embark on a thrilling whitewater rafting activity on the mighty Stranda or Rauna Rivers. The rafts each carry six people plus your experienced rafting guide; expect spectacular rapids on both rivers, fantastic scenery and a real adrenaline rush! Time for refreshments in-between runs, plus the chance to take a little swim, before returning to basecamp. Luxuriate with an outdoor hot-tub session before a well-earned lunch in Elvatun Cafe.

Today you will return to Bergen by rail with the opportunity to store your luggage and explore Bergen on foot, before your private transfer to Bergen Airport. Bergen is a picturesque coastal city known for the colourful wooden wharf buildings in Bryggen - an ancient trading harbour which is UNESCO listed. If you only have a few hours to spare we suggest lunch in one of the numerous independent cafes or the Fish Market, perhaps with a glass of crisp wine.
