Day 8 | Arrive in Oslo

Depart the far north today and arrive in Oslo for a stay in Norway's vibrant capital. Wander the harbourfront at Aker Brygge before ducking into the striking Munch Museum or the National Museum for a dose of culture indoors. If the fjord is frozen, a walk along the waterfront at Bygdøy or a visit to the Fram Museum, home to the polar exploration ship itself, feels particularly fitting in the season. Round things off with a warming coffee or gløgg (mulled wine) in one of the city's cosy cafés.
