With just 24 bedrooms, this exclusive retreat is where you can enjoy peace and tranquillity in superb style and comfort. Log buildings give the hotel a rustic feel, while handmade furniture, cosy sheepskins and roaring fires inside create a homely environment to chill out and plan your Arctic adventures.
The cosy, log-lined restaurant welcomes you for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The menu changes daily, so you’ll have the chance to taste a wonderful range of delicious Lappish dishes, lovingly created from locally sourced ingredients.
Just 20 minutes from the friendly village of Ivalo, a whole range of experiences and activities is open to you. Snowmobile across the frozen lake in search of the aurora, try your hand at ice fishing or get up close and personal with the local huskies and reindeer. Whatever you do, make sure you allow time to stop and stare. You’ll be surrounded by Mother Nature at her most spectacular. Make the most of it.

Luxury eco aurora huts
These exceptionally eco-conscious designed pods are in fact floating vessels that can easily be moved from place to place, so depending on the season, nights can be spent on ice, snow and even water. During winter, Lake Inari freezes and expert aurora hunters place the pods in a prime location far away from light pollution to heighten the chances of seeing the ethereal northern lights.
