Explore Oslo, Norway’s cosmopolitan capital city, before taking the spectacular Bergen Line and Flåm Mountain railway journeys to Aurland for a delightful stay in the fjords at a glorious eco boutique hotel. Hike and kayak below mountains shaped by ancient glaciers, before taking a fjord cruise of the Aurlands and Næroy fjords to Bergen, an ancient historical city with Hanseatic harbour. A great holiday for first-timers and re-visitors to this beautiful region.

Day 1 | Arrive in Oslo

Fly to Oslo, and transfer to the hotel. Once settled in, why not explore the magnificent capital? Head out to see some of Oslo's most well- loved cultural attractions, from the Opera House to the Munch museum.

Day 2 | Oslo Sightseeing

Visit Oslo's most well-loved cultural attractions such as the Vigeland Sculpture Park. On Bygdøy peninsula, explore Aker Brygge with it's vibrant pier & restaurants. Discover the Fram Museum and the Kon-Tiki Museum. To see the main sights of the city centre, there are free guided walking tours available with community tourist guides.

Day 3 | Bergen Line & Flåm Mountain Railway

Today enjoy a spectacular trip on the Bergen Line and Flam Mountain railways. The journeys offer panoramic views of some of the wildest and most magnificent nature in the Norwegian fjord landscape. Between Myrdal and Flam admire rivers cutting through deep ravines, waterfalls cascading down the side of steep, snow-capped mountains, and mountain farms clinging dizzily to sheer slopes.

Day 4 | Stegastein Viewpoint & Hiking

Visit the Stegastein viewpoint for a stunning view of the Aurlandsfjord. Stretch your legs for your hike up to a summer pasture farm, here enjoy a appetising lunch in rustic surroundings, with a breath-taking view. Return to the hotel, where the wood-fired hot tub and sauna awaits.

Kayaking in the fjords of Norway

Day 5 | Fjord Kayaking

Enjoy a leisurely stroll or cycle down to the fjord, followed by a kayaking. Paddle along the gorgeous Aurlandsfjord keeping a watchful eye for seals, otters and porpoises. Enjoy a packed lunch in phenomenal surroundings before returning to Aurland. The remainder of the day is free to relax or perhaps take a short walk to the local farm shop.

Day 6 | Fjord Cruise & Scenic Bus Ride

Transfer to Flåm, where you will depart on an environmental sightseeing boat for a fjord cruise along the Aurlands and Nærøy fjords to Gudvangen. Continue the journey by bus through the Nærøy Valley to the lakeside village of Voss, before taking the train to Bergen. The hotel is located in the harbour area of the city, in close proximity to the fish market, the old Hanseatic harbour and popular shopping streets.

Day 7 | Explore Bergen

Today, spend the day exploring Norway's second largest city. Bergen boasts a number of excellent museums and galleries, or if you prefer to be outdoors then why not book a guided walking tour of the city? It's possible to take a cable car to the summit of Mount Ulriken, or travel by bus and boat to visit the enchanting Hardangerfjord.

Day 8 | Departure Day

Transfer to Bergen Airport for your departure plans.
