Hardangerfjord in the summer, Norway

Day 1 | Arrive in Norway

Arrive in Norway's 'Gateway to the fjords', Bergen. Collect your hire car and enjoy the view as you cross the Kvam mountains and descend to the mesmerising Hardangerfjord. Check in to the Trolltunga Hotel and enjoy dinner in the restaurant.

Day 2 | Sunset Hike to Trolltunga

Enjoy a hearty breakfast at your hotel before a thrilling adventure. The hike to and from Trolltunga is a 28-kilometre roundtrip, spread over two days. Your guide has a wealth of experience and local knowledge and will keep the group informed and motivated throughout the hike. Enjoy the sunset around Trolltunga and a well-earned dinner with breath-taking views, before sleeping under the midnight glow in a cosy dome tent.

Day 3 | Descend Trolltunga at Sunrise

Rise early to witness the sunrise over Trolltunga. Enjoy breakfast and soak in the blazing view of orange, yellow and red over the mountains before descending to Skjeggedal and returning to Trolltunga Hotel. Enjoy a well-earned evening meal and early night.

Day 4 | Scenic Journey to Bergen

Travel to Bergen today via a winding scenic road. Journey through to Jondal and take the ferry across the glistening Hardangerfjord. Continue on to the Bergen Børs Hotel, located close to the old harbour and close to many of the city's popular attractions.

Day 5 | Discover Bergen

Explore Norway's second-largest city. Visit Fisketorget (the fish market), Bryggen (the old Hanseatic harbour) and the shopping streets of Torgalmenningen and Strandgaten. Take the Fløibanen (funicular railway) to the summit of Mount Fløyen for spectacular views of the city.
