Day 1 | Arrive in Lapland

Arrive in Lapland and transfer to Torassieppi, a remote and eco-friendly resort, home to cosy log cabins, a small ice hotel, luxury AuororaHuts, and a reindeer farm that dates back to 1847. Settle in and explore the snowy surroundings before enjoying dinner in the restaurant which serves organic and locally sourced food. In the evening, make your way to your cosy log cabin.

Day 2 | Reindeer Farm & Winter Village

With Torassieppi's reindeer farm being one of the oldest in Lapland, you will be sure to learn about the history of Finnish culture. Try your hand at reindeer herding before a ride on the reindeer sled. Explore the hundred-year-old guesthouse and museum giving you an insight into life in the north. Take a short walk to the Winter Village, where the wonder of the hand-carved ice restaurant awaits. Enjoy lunch in a traditional Lappish Kota hut before returning to your cosy cabin for the evening.

Day 3 | Husky Safari

After breakfast, explore the local area and prepare to meet a pack of happy huskies. You will learn how to safely drive and steer your own husky team. Later, experience the 'Taste of Finland', a culinary discovery of Lapland. With a belly full of Finnish delights, keeping a watchful eye out for the northern lights that may appear overhead.

Day 4 | Optional excursion & Secrets of the northern lights

Today it is possible to book an optional wilderness activity or simply take the day at your own pace. Embrace the natural surroundings over lunch before discovering the secrets of the northern lights, a fascinating workshop detailing the science and stories behind this striking phenomenon.

Day 5 | Snowshoe Excursion

This morning embark on a refreshing snowshoe hike into the Lappish wilderness. The Pallas National Park is the most expansive fell area in western Lapland. Make your way to the high points of the fell for breathtaking views across the snow-drenched landscape.

Day 6 | Snowmobile Tour to Harriniva Adventure Resort

Spend the morning at leisure before heading deep into the wilderness on a bracing snowmobile adventure. Follow your guide along snow-lined tracks and zip through the bristling trees. Stop at the Harriniva Adventure Resort and explore the Arctic Sled Dog centre, where you'll have the chance to meet some friendly huskies. Return to the reindeer resort for dinner. It is possible to upgrade your stay this evening to an AuroraHut Glass Igloo, where panoramic windows allow the outside in, and northern lights viewing is possible from your luxuriously cosy bed. Day 7 | Aurora Snow Shuttle

Enjoy your final day in Lapland. Soak up the snow drenched landscape and perhaps make use of the calming sauna before hopping aboard the Aurora Snow Shuttle. Head into the wilderness where there is zero light pollution, providing optimal conditions to view Mother Nature's most famous light show. Arrive at a cosy campfire and continue your hunt for the swirling streaks in the sky. Return to your log cabin for your final night in Finnish Lapland.

Day 8 | Arctic Sauna World

Spend the morning at leisure before making the short journey to the restorative and rewarding Arctic Sauna World. Perhaps take a brave dip in the icy waters before enjoying the sauna experience. Take in the views over lunch beside the glassy Lake Jerisjärvi.
