Take in the stylish sights of Sweden's capital city before flying north to spend two nights in the treetops at the world-famous Treehotel. Enjoy Stockholm's architecture; from the bright coloured houses at Stortorget (the city's historical square) to the City Hall. Once the city's highlights have been explored, travel north for days high in the treetops, 50km south of the Arctic Circle.
Itinerary
Day 1 | Arrive in Sweden
Arrive in Stockholm and transfer to your hotel where you will stay for one night. Once a private residence, the Ett Hem historic townhouse is now a multi-award winning hotel with exquisitely designed interiors and individuality to match. Why not head out for dinner in the evening and enjoy the city at twilight. Ask us about our favourite restaurants in the city.
Day 2 | Fly to Swedish Lapland
Fly to Luleå in Swedish Lapland where on arrival you will be met and whisked away by private car to the world-famous Treehotel. These imaginative dwellings were constructed with minimal impact to the environment, using eco friendly materials and sustainable sources of energy. Keep your eyes peeled after dark as the northern lights may come out to play.
Day 3 | Husky Sled Ride
Awake in the treetops and head for breakfast at the main house before embarking on an exhilarating husky sled ride through the snowy forest. In the afternoon kick back and relax in the sauna and outdoor hot tub.
Day 4 | Departure Day
Perhaps take a morning stroll through the forest before transferring back to Luleå for your departure flight.
